So many people have come out saying that without Tiger Woods this year the season is lost and gold has lost the appeal but are these people just getting their.
The Real People
I have to say that my dad is a real golfer and spends a lot of his spare time out on the course and he really has a dislike for Woods, but is there a real reason behind this?? Well I asked him and his opinion is that Tiger has brought in a lot of people that do not really care about the sport at all. I have to say that whenever I do (on the rare occassion) sit down and watch a bit of golf there is always some moron that shouts “Get In The Hole” whenever Tiger takes a shot and this doesn’t matter if it is physically impossible to get the putt or hole in one.
The Opinion Of The Other Golfers?
So many people forget about all of the other golfers that play in the major events and even when someone else is at the top they are wanting Tiger to be beating them. The reason for this is unknown, yes he brings in a bit of passion to the sport and got rid of the opinion that golf is for the older generations but when you see some of the other players they are far more passionate than he is.
Ending Point
One of the major problems I think that golf is going to see this year is that they will see a bit of a drop in the viewings and this is going to be a great shame as there are so many great players out there.
So get out those Marine Batteries plug them into the trolley and get out there for a round of golf. You could even charge up those Mobility Scooter Batteries and get down the course if you are a bit of an old timer.
